FAQ
How is Miratick different from other stress monitor apps?
Most stress tracker apps show you stress data after the fact. Miratick helps you notice stress in real time as it happens. Using live awareness and gentle Apple Watch haptics, Miratick helps you pause, reset, and return to the present before stress spirals further, not hours later.
Does Miratick help with anxiety?
Many users use Miratick as a tool to become more aware of stress, anxiety, and overstimulation patterns throughout the day. While Miratick is not a treatment for anxiety, it can help create moments of awareness and grounding before stress spirals further.
How does Miratick detect stress?
Miratick uses Apple Watch health signals such as heart rate and movement patterns to estimate your stress state throughout the day. The app is designed to help you become more aware of your mental state in real time.
What is Stress Alert?
Stress Alerts notify you on Apple Watch when Miratick detects signs of elevated stress in real time using Apple Watch health signals. Instead of only showing stress data later, Miratick helps you notice tension as it happens so you can pause, reset, and regain awareness in the moment. You can customize strength and sensitivity in phone app.
What is Presence Pulse?
Presence Pulse is Miratick’s signature haptic feature that delivers gentle presence check on your Apple Watch on cadence throughout the day to help bring your awareness back to the present moment. It’s designed to quietly ground you during everyday life without interrupting your flow. You can customize strength and frequency in phone app.
What do the colors on the Miratick home screen mean?
Miratick uses color rings to help you quickly understand your current mental state throughout the day.
Green — Calm and grounded
Blue — Transition state between calm and stress
Teal — Stress or mindful reset moment detected
Yellow — Active, engaged, or elevated energy state
These colors are designed to give you a simple, glanceable view of how your mind and body are shifting in real time.
Why is Miratick logging Exercise Minutes in Apple Health?
Miratick uses HKWorkoutSession (Apple's workout API) to get background execution privileges. This is what lets the app keep collecting your heart rate continuously even when your wrist is down or the screen is off. Starting any active workout session, regardless of type, tells the system "the user is exercising," and Apple Watch credits Exercise Minutes in real time based on your movement during that session.
